We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated commercial professional for the role of Assistant Director of Sales. The ideal candidate is a sales expert with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality and thrives in a fast-paced business environment. This individual knows how to secure business in a competitive landscape and enjoys working autonomously as an energetic self-starter.
The ADOS reports into the Director of Sales and is co-responsible for defining the sales objectives, strategies, actions and activities for the pro-active sales through clear short, medium and long term plans and by inspiring and delivering results together with the enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious team.
A quick glimpse of your tasks:
You will be responsible for the US market for corporate, MICE and the luxury leisure segments; Able to travel at least 5 times a year to responsible market(s); Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within your account base; Seek new business opportunities and develop target list and action plans for (new) accounts; Executive proactive sales activities to reach the set revenue goals Train and coach, the sales team.What are we asking?

Minimum 4 years in a sales manager role within the hotel industry (preferably in the luxury sector); Experience with creating (strategic) commercial market plans; Willingness and ability to travel internationally frequently (approximately 5 times a year); Strong communication skills, acting as an ambassador both internally and externally. Capable of identifying business opportunities and implementing strategies to increase revenue in assigned markets; Experience in multiple business segments, with essential knowledge of MICE and Travel Trade. Capable of managing complex projects and engaging with numerous key stakeholders. You are open to work evenings and/or weekends when the business needs require; Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.and in terms of your contract:
Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay Salary: Group 9. Click for the salary scale Bonus: 1 month salary if the hotel reaches the desired GOP (Gross Operating Profit); 8% holiday allowance (pro rata); 25 vacation days per year (pro rata) Compensation for National Holidays. Horeca CAO applies; General Pension Scheme of Hospitality and Catering; General Survivors pension; 1000 EUR development budget Attractive family and friends rates on overnight stays at Hotel Okura Amsterdam; Once a year staff discount in one of the restaurants (50%); Staff discount in our restaurants (20%); Contribution to travel expenses from 10 km (one way); After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people), so that you can experience the hotel as a guestWhat are we asking?
