Portfolio Administrator Agribusiness, Food and Water

Your role
The recent years, FMO has become more complex and had to step up in managing our operational risk and data quality, while additional requirements in monitoring the portfolio have been introduced. This substantially increased the administrative burden also in AFW, distracting the investment staff from focusing on their core activities, being origination, execution, portfolio and relationship management.
We are therefore looking for a Portfolio Administrator who will provide administrative support to the regional teams. You will report to a Regional Manager in AFW and coordinate daily activities with AFW's Business Officer.
Your activities:
Support portfolio management administration in close cooperation with Portfolio Analysts, Associates and Officers. Ensure proper registration of monitoring items in systems, follow-up with team members in case of open items for selected regional teams. Verify compliance certificates to see if there are breaches with financial covenants and inform team members if this is the case. Assist with insurance document monitoring and follow up. Ensure data quality (CRM, K2, SIS-Impact Cards and other systems) in close cooperation with Operations and AFW team members. Set-up new client file in THS, CRM and support business officer with ad hoc projects.
Our offer
Salary range around €50K gross per year. This is for a full-time position and varies with your experience. Yearly individual development budget. Flexible working hours, hybrid way of working (50/50). 31 holidays. The main objective is to invest in private sector companies in the agribusiness value chain. These companies produce and distribute food, work with smallholder suppliers, and promote environmentally friendly technologies and practices.
To that end, we promote amongst others good agricultural practices, corporate governance, risk management, good labor conditions and Human Rights and increasingly climate risk awareness and adaptation. Our Agribusiness portfolio is very diverse with investments in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. It has a focus in the larger agricultural countries.
The Agribusiness team currently consists of around 50 professionals with multiple nationalities and is divided over four regional teams.
