Job Description: Lead Business Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to guide and manage requirements development and analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, analysis, documentation, verification, and validation of requirements across various projects.
  • Utilize requirements management tools and relevant software to document, track, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, military personnel, and external contractors, to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Integrate engineering domains into a coherent systems engineering process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements from stakeholders.
  • Manage change processes effectively to adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Maintain integrity and version control of requirements documentation through configuration management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and align requirements with each project phase.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience collaborating across engineering domains and integrating systems engineering processes.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with requirements management tools and relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with at least 5 years of experience in technical decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in working with cross-functional teams.
  • At least 8 years of experience communicating complex technical information clearly to stakeholders, showcasing excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and how requirements align with each phase.
  • 2 years of experience with various requirements gathering techniques, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and use cases.
  • 2 years of experience working with different stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
  • Experience (2 years) in change management processes for handling requirement modifications.
