The Sales Development Team Manager (International) is responsible for overseeing a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development Representatives. The Sales Development Representative team are often the first people that prospective customers and partners engage with at KnowBe4 and play an important role in generating genuine interest and nurturing the relationship to the point of handing off to the Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have experience prospecting for leads, engaging with prospects to conduct initial discovery, educating prospects on KnowBe4 products, explaining KnowBe4’s partner program, and passing qualified prospects to the Sales team.
Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach a team of Direct and Channel Sales Development RepresentativesOversee the followup and qualifying of direct and partner leads by SDRsMonitor the daily statistics of the Sales Development Representatives and identify any discrepancies in reportingSupport Channel Sales Development Representatives by assisting with partner escalationsEnsure all procedures and policies are followed by team members and pinpoint any areas of improvement to increase efficiencyBe the first line of support to the team to answer questions and direct on best practicesExecute performance reviews with team membersDevelop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scriptsEnsure the team is effectively leveraging a sales tool to discover newleadsTag in on calls with team members, as necessaryCoordinate and align with Global Sales Director on the performance (goals/plans) of the SDR Team Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weightRequirements:
Bachelor’s Degree a plusFamiliarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field a plusMinimum 1 year Channel/Direct experienceMinimum 1 year Leadership experience Experience with Gmail and Google DocsExperience with MS OfficeExcellent verbal and written communicationsExcellent people skillsManagerial experienceGood computer skillsFriendly phone voice“Pleasantly persistent” as it can take multiple tries to reach a prospectAbility to leave an engaging message and sound interestedMust be highly organized and results-orientedOur Fantastic Benefits
