Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem is een dynamisch 4 sterren Hotel gelegen op de mooie Veluwe. Naast 100 comfortabele hotelkamers beschikt ons Hotel over een geheel nieuw à la carte/ontbijtrestaurant, een trendy Hotelbar en over 10 multifunctionele zalen.


Om al onze gasten een fijn verblijf te garanderen door alle processen binnen ons receptie- en housekeepingteam te stroomlijnen zijn wij op zoek naar een Rooms Division Manager


Voornaamste taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Zorgen voor de implementatie van genomen beslissingen
  • Het coördineren van de uitvoering van de werkzaamheden en toezien op kwaliteit binnen het receptie team
  • Aansturen en toezien op de controle van onze (externe) housekeeping afdeling
  • Aanspreekpunt voor onze (externe) nachtportier
  • Lid van ons Management Team en Sales en Marketing team
  • Strategisch meedenken in ons Revenue team
  • Het verzorgen van planningen ten aanzien van roosters, werkverdeling en inzet van medewerkers
  • Het uitvoeren van controles op werkzaamheden, SOP’s, en administratieve handelingen zoals facturering en dagomzetten van de receptie
  • Het verstrekken van informatie en verlenen van extra service aan gasten en ervoor zorgen dat collega’s dit ook doen
  • Behandelen van reviews en feedback van onze gasten
  • Voorbereiden van evenementen en feestdagen
  • Communiceren en afstemmen van bijzonderheden/ problemen met andere afdelingen en rapporteren aan leidinggevenden
  • Ontwikkelen van ideeën en bevorderen van ideeën bij collega’s.


Wij zoeken een Rooms Division Manager

  • Met een servicegerichte en flexibele instelling
  • Die op een vlotte en correcte manier kan communiceren in het Nederlands en Engels en liefst nog een vreemde taal (Duits)
  • Met een extrovert, sprankelend karakter en oog voor detail
  • Die het een uitdaging vindt om collega’s te laten excelleren in hun baan
  • Met een kostenbewuste instelling en cijfermatige vaardigheden
  • Met leidinggevende capaciteiten
  • Een oplossingsgerichte mentaliteit, stressbestendig en proactief
  • Die beschikt over een afgeronde hotelschool, bij voorkeur HBO
  • Die bij voorkeur kennis heeft van IDPMS

Wat bieden wij jou:

  • Wij bieden je een arbeidsovereenkomst voor gemiddeld 36 uur per week (32 uur per week is bespreekbaar)

  • Salarisindicatie op basis van fulltime dienstverband tussen €3400 en €4000 per maand
