Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about account management and sales, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a keen understanding of digital marketing and brand management. As a Business Development Manager at StellarUp, you will be responsible for the growth of the business across multiple industries, understanding the prospects unique needs, and delivering personalised solutions to drive their success.

Day to day responsibilities:
- New Business Development:
Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and other lead generation strategies.
Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, and present StellarUp as a tailored solution.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales cycle to achieve revenue targets.
- Client Consultation and Solution Selling:
Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultations with prospective clients to understand their pain points and requirements.
Present StellarUp in a compelling and consultative manner, highlighting the value proposition and benefits to the client.
Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and customer success, to tailor solutions to meet client needs and address specific challenges.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations with prospective clients, addressing objections, clarifying terms, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies and objectives.
Follow up with clients throughout the sales process, providing updates and addressing any concerns or questions to facilitate a smooth and successful closing.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify target industries, verticals, and key decision-makers for outreach and engagement.
Provide feedback and insights to the sales leadership team to inform sales strategies and tactics and drive continuous improvement.
Some skills to bring with you:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a sales or account management role in a SaaS environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Ability to hit and exceed monthly sales targets.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in English (Dutch, German and French would be a plus)
Familiarity with Hubspot or other CRM’s, and previous experience in a start-up environment would be a bonus.
