who are you

You are communicatively strong and possess the drive to get things done. As clinical study assistant you are detail oriented, with strong organizational and prioritization skills. You have strong written and oral communication skills So, you are:

  • Possessing HBO level of education and thinking;
  • Available for 32 - 40 hours per week;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English language is a must;
  • Proficiency with various applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
what will you do

The Clinical Study Assistant is responsible for the operational and administrative support throughout a clinical study within the global clinical research team. Clinical Study Assistant is a member of the wider team including Study Managers, Study Researchers, Data Managers and the Supplies team.
As Study assist you will assist the clinical team in the preparation, handling, distribution, filing, and archiving of clinical documentation and reports according to the applicable GCP guidelines and standard operating procedures. You will support the clinical team in the operational execution of the study (e.g. tracking study documents, sample logistics, creating overviews to enable study oversight, ad-hoc contact with sites and vendors to ensure the processes surrounding the study go smoothly, and becoming an expert in the systems that support these processes). Furthermore, you will:

  • Prepare ISF (investigator site file) and TMF (trial master file) for the initiation of participating centers in clinical studies
  •  Support the team with the financial management of the clinical studies
  • Support the team in contract management and vendor creation
  • Support the preparation and organization of internal and/or external meetings
  • Participate in the optimization of processes within the department
  • Act as a central contact for the clinical team for project communication, correspondence and documentation
  • Support the team with any ad-hoc requests that come in internally and externally during execution of the study.

You'll be part of a team, handling tasks independently but always having support from your colleagues. In this position you will work from the office in Utrecht, working hybrid is possible after a few weeks on the job.
