Background information
This internship takes place within the Society and Community Engagement team of ASML, with the focus on Attractive and Inclusive Communities. We design and set-up programs like Glow, the ASML Marathon Eindhoven, Van Gogh Museum, PSV Brainport Partnership and many others.
ASML is expected to more than double its business (in revenues) between 2020 and 2030. This results in additional employees at ASML (e.g. ~20,000 additional in Brainport) and in our ecosystem (e.g. ~60,000 additional in Brainport). Of ASML's new employees, a large portion has a non-local nationality (e.g. more than half in Brainport). This growth brings jobs, prosperity and innovation but also puts pressure on our communities in other areas. ASML will take the responsibility to significantly invest in our communities, so they can absorb this growth and will continue to support ASML in its development, while our employees feel proud about ASML's contribution.
Your assignment
As the intern in the Society and Community Engagement team you can unleash your creativity by thinking about new programs and you will help the team in setting-up the programs we have in the pipeline. Our team works with several program strategies (8), you will be supporting at least one of these programs and the projects that come with it.
Your profile
To be the perfect match for this internship, you:
Are a bachelor or master student in Community Management, Communications or Event Management; Have a creative and enthusiastic mindset; Have strong communication skills and are a self-starter; Are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbally.This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship (suitable for graduation if possible to support the team for minimum 3 days) with a minimum duration of 5 months, for 4 days per week or more. The starting date will be in September 2024.
