As Lead Strategic Leadership Development, you play a key role in nurturing our leaders within Schiphol. The Leadership Team reflects our organization, focusing on operations, commerce, and our assets and projects. Our current top 130 leaders are currently participating in the leadership program 'Shape our future'.
Here's what you'll do:
- Contribute to effective leadership to help Schiphol achieve its (strategic) goals. Anticipate and address the needs of our airport and stakeholders
- Proactively identify soft aspects (translating leadership principles into behavior) and hard aspects (such as succession planning processes, evaluation tools, etc.)
- Anticipate leadership trends and challenges for our organization, capable of outlining various future scenarios
- Share your inspiring leadership vision and translate it into actionable steps
You will report hierarchically to the Sr. Manager Leadership, Learning & Organizational Development. As an excellent networker, you will interact with our executive team, HR Senior Management, top 45 leaders, and top 130 leaders.

Schiphol connects your world. By taking the lead in implementing improvements, you contribute to safe and responsible travel experiences. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- MA degree in Leadership or similar
- Minimum 7-10 years of Leadership Development experience
- Proven experience in advising at a strategic level in political environments
- Strong network in the L&D/leadership development field
- Extensive experience in one-on-one coaching of top-level leaders

Salary range: € 6350 - € 8684 gross per month (Excluding CAO 4-D)
