Voor het in april 2021 geopende ibis Styles Delft City Centre zijn wij per direct op zoek naar een Operations Supervisor. Midden in de hippe en historische stad Delft, direct naast het station, hebben wij april 2021 de deuren van het gloednieuwe ibis Styles Delft City Centre geopend. Het 3* hotel met 82 kamers moderne kamers, is een compacte organisatie met een team van circa 15 medewerkers. In de positie van Operations Supervisor ben jij samen met de Operations Manager verantwoordelijk voor de operationele gang van zaken in het hotel. Je rapporteert aan de Operations Manager en de General Manager.
Heb jij ervaring met het aansturen van de operationele afdelingen in een hotel en heb jij het verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel dat hier bij hoort? Door jouw organisatorische vaardigheden zorg jij ervoor dat alles in grote lijnen maar juist ook op detailniveau goed verloopt, waarbij je jezelf op werkvloer bevindt, tussen de medewerkers en gasten. Jij zorgt voor structuur, rust en een fijne (werk)sfeer in het hotel. Door jouw sociale en benaderbare houding ben je zeer toegankelijk voor gasten en collega’s. Geen dag is hetzelfde Je lost onverwachte situaties goed op en schakelt makkelijk tussen diverse mensen; collega’s of gasten.
Wat vragen we van jou?
Met jouw ervaring als leidinggevende het hotel in samenwerking met het team naar een professioneel operationeel niveau tillen.
In ons hotel is elke dag anders en natuurlijk zijn er taken en verantwoordelijkheden die dagelijks gedaan moeten worden. Door een uitgebreid inwerktraject zal jij je deze taken en verantwoordelijkheden snel eigen maken:
- Meewerkende functie in de operatie; zowel Front Office als F&B
- Aanspreekpunt voor gasten en medewerkers;
- Verantwoordelijk voor de operationele werkzaamheden die komen kijken bij de front-office;
- Verrichten van alle receptie werkzaamheden zoals check-ins, check-outs, correct afhandelen telefoongesprekken en andere services verlenen aan gasten;
- Reserveringen aannemen en verwerken;
- Het afhandelen van klachten van gasten;
- Verwerken van betalingen met behulp van (geautomatiseerd) kassasysteem;
- Schakelen met de housekeeping supervisor over de schoon te maken kamers;
- Verantwoordelijk voor de operationele werkzaamheden die komen kijken bij de F&B activiteiten zoals ontbijt en bar;
- Leidinggeven, begeleiden en instrueren van medewerkers
- Het toezien op de voortgang / uitvoeringskwaliteit van de werkzaamheden;
- Het opzetten en uitwerken van diverse projecten, zoals een upsell programma, interne training etc.;
- Afstemmen van de operationele zaken binnen de teams, bespreken van de knelpunten, bepalen van oplossingen en de te nemen maatregelen;
- Het zorg dragen voor efficiënte werkmethoden, procedures en voor de instructie daarvan aan de medewerkers;
- Het bewaken en uitdragen van interne procedures; zorgen dat er van alle procedures up-to-date SOP’s aanwezig zijn
- Initiëren van nieuwe ideeën ter optimalisatie van de operatie en de omzet;
Vereiste kennis en ervaring:
Natuurlijk krijg je van ons hieronder een lijstje met de bekende functie eisen, Maar wij vinden wij enthousiasme, humor en positiviteit nog belangrijker
- Afgeronde MHS/HHS of vergelijkbare opleiding
- Je hebt al enkele jaren ervaring in soortgelijke functie
- Je bent 5 dagen per week beschikbaar (week en weekend)
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels, meer talen is een pre
- BHV/SVH is een pre
- Je kan makkelijk besluiten nemen, je bent kwaliteitsgericht en creatief in het bedenken van een oplossing als problemen zich voordoen
