The Hague Conference Centre (THCC) zoekt een enthousiaste en resultaatgerichte Assistent Operations Manager. Samen met de Operations Manager en collega Assistent Operations Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing van het operationele team en werk je actief mee om de organisatie naar een hoger niveau te tillen.


Onze klanten en gasten bestaan voornamelijk uit zakelijke opdrachtgevers en jij weet precies wat zij nodig hebben om hun bijeenkomsten bij ons tot een succes te maken. Daarbij ben je goed in regelen, organiseren en het houden van overzicht.

Waar kom je te werken en wat ga je doen?

Je komt te werken bij The Hague Conference Centre; een groeiend conferentiecentrum voor (inter)nationale congressen tot circa 600 personen, gelegen in hartje Den Haag. Als Assistent Operations Manager werk je samen met een professioneel team van gedreven collega’s.

In deze afwisselende functie werk je mee in de operatie en voer je daarnaast managementtaken uit.


Operationele taken:

  • Je neemt dagelijks de dagplanning door en instrueert de medewerkers op de vloer.
  • Je ontzorgt opdrachtgevers en gasten tijdens een congres of evenement.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor zowel opdrachtgevers, gasten, collega’s en uitzendkrachten.
  • Tijdens een event geef je leiding aan een team van 2 tot 20 inhuurkrachten, de Partymanagers en begeleid je onze stagiaires op de werkvloer.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor en werkt mee aan de opbouw en het klaarzetten van alle faciliteiten voor meetings, congressen en evenementen.


Managementtaken:

  • Je draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling en coaching van de vaste medewerkers.
  • Je denkt actief mee in het verbeteren van procedures, processen en systemen.
  • Je ondersteunt bij administratieve taken, zoals het maken van de personeelsplanning en bestellingen.
  • Je voert sollicitatiegesprekken en leveranciersgesprekken.
  • Je hebt een verbindende rol tussen sales en operatie.


Wie ben jij?

Herken jij je in de volgende kenmerken?

  • Je hebt een MBO+ of HBO-werk en denkniveau in een relevante studierichting (Hotelschool, Facility Management, Event Management of soortgelijks).
  • Je hebt relevante werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie. denkt actief mee in het verbeteren van procedures, processen en systemen.
  • Je bent gastgericht, zorgzaam en begrijpt wat gasten nodig hebben.
  • Je bent ondernemend en wilt jezelf en het team graag verder ontwikkelen.
  • Je bent goed in regelen, organiseren en het houden van overzicht.
  • Je kunt goed samenwerken, bent representatief en motiveert collega’s.
  • Je hebt een vloeiende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en goede beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.

Wat bieden wij?

  • Een salaris van € 3.000,- tot € 3.500,- bruto per maand o.b.v. fulltime, afhankelijk van relevante werkervaring.
