Senior Digital Marketing Manager EMEA

About our Team

Our Regional Marketing team partners closely with our sales team as partners for growth. Our primary focus is to drive business growth by deeply understanding, representing and meeting the evolving needs of our research customers. We do this by designing and executing strategic regional initiatives for our customers with support from global marketing experts and internal stakeholders. We bring the Elsevier brand to life through storytelling as a local expert, and develop a data & results driven culture.

About the Role

As the senior Digital Marketing Manager, you develop and implement measurable, scalable digital campaigns, including paid media, SEO, organic social and email. You use your expertise to lead regional and multi-territory campaigns. Collaborating with regional marketing managers, you manage the entire campaign process—from ideation to execution, measurement, and insights. You ensure smooth customer engagement through inbound and outbound programs.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing regional marketing campaigns by leveraging product and market insights, including defining objectives, target audiences, messaging, channels, and timelines.
  • Strategizing and implementing across the regional digital ecosystem, including organic social media, paid media, and web channels.
  • Driving regional campaigns to accelerate the marketing funnel, generating MQLs and influencing the pipeline
  • Supporting regional marketing managers by creating digital assets for campaign launches.
  • Analyzing and optimizing user journeys for better campaign performance, and presenting reports with insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure campaign alignment across different territories.

Requirements

  • Bring proven experience and expertise in campaign management and digital marketing.
  • Own ROI-positive campaigns successfully, managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Lead ABM campaigns, digital content creation, and social media platform management.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and content management systems with solid analytical skills for optimizing campaigns.
  • Excel in understanding content marketing strategies.
  • Execute regional campaigns effectively and communicate well as a project manager.
  • Deliver projects on time and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
