Lyreco bezorgt dagelijks heel wat klanten uit de Benelux de juiste werkplekproducten en -oplossingen. We vinden het enorm belangrijk om dicht bij de klanten te staan en hen volledig te ontzorgen. Het Category Management team speelt een centrale rol in het bepalen van onze offering richting de klant en het onderhouden van de relaties met onze belangrijke partners & leveranciers. Als Head of Category stuur je het team aan en neem je de organisatie mee in de verdere ontwikkeling van het strategische plan van de betrokken categorieën. De Head of Category Manager die wij zoeken is verantwoordelijk voor de category Industrial & PPE oplossingen.

Hoe ziet jouw dag eruit?

Jouw werkweek verloopt zeer gevarieerd. Geen enkele dag zal dezelfde zijn. Het is daarom ook uitermate belangrijk dat je iemand bent die snel kan schakelen, resultaatgericht denkt en de nodige eindverantwoordelijkheid draagt. Als Head of Category Industrial & PPE word je verantwoordelijk voor het uitbouwen van de lokale business strategie en deze te beheren & communiceren richting de organisatie. Je werkt nauw samen met lokale Sales & Marketing Benelux collega’s, je internationale collega’s uit verschillende landen & het hoofdkwartier in Frankrijk. Je bewaakt het rendement en bouwt strategische relaties met bestaande & nieuwe partners/leveranciers. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van de product & services portfolio, het inkoopbeleid en de interne & externe marketing tools die nodig zijn om de categorie in de B2B markt te versterken. Voor de communicatie en digitale kanalen word je geholpen door je collega’s van het communicatie en digitale Marketing departement. Je rapporteert rechtstreek aan de Marketing Director Benelux. Naast jezelf zijn er nog 3 andere Category Managers (Tech&Print/Catering, Hygiëne & Meubilair/Office) met wie je dagdagelijks samenwerkt. Elke Category Manager heeft zijn eigen experten team bestaande uit product manager(s) en marketing officers.

Enkele belangrijke taken:

Uitwerken van de Benelux business strategie voor de categorieën Industrial, PPE oplossingen, op basis van markt cijfers & markt analyses.

Op basis van de huidige propositie en land gebonden marktsituatie en -evolutie, een visie ontwikkelen op korte en lange termijn met als doel onze ambities in deze categorieën waar te maken.

De strategie laten aansluiten op ons commercieel go-to-market model.

De strategie vertalen naar operationele & tactische E-to-E business acties. Deze business acties succesvol uitwerken samen met je team (product managers & marketing officers) & uitzetten via de verschillende kanalen naar de klant toe.

De strategie communiceren en bespreken met je team (vertaalslag naar concrete gedragen initiatieven & projecten) & alle andere stakeholders (draagvlak en relevantie creëren). Gezien de grootte en het belang van onze verschillende niet-digitale kanalen richting de markt (Sales, Customer Service, …) is de juiste communicatie, overleg & draagvlak van groot belang. Het digitale kanaal is in sterke opmars en krijgt veel aandacht en wordt ondersteund door onze digitale Marketing collega’s.

Het managen van de progressie van de initiatieven en projecten (van je team & jezelf) volgens logische project management principes.

Grondige analyses van het rendement van de categorie & structurele verbeter voorstellen formuleren en implementeren om de resultaten te drijven in lijn met de ambities.

Inkoopbeleid (incl. aankooponderhandelingen) & leverancierspartnerships afsluiten, beheren & uitbouwen. Deze taak vormt een wezenlijk deel van het gehele takenpakket.

Beheren & optimaliseren van de huidige product portfolio, in nauwe samenwerking met je expert product managers & marketing officers team.

Trainen van onze commerciële mensen.

Presentaties geven aan interne en externe stakeholders.

Actieve samenwerking met collega’s op internationaal niveau.

Aansturen en ondersteunen van het categorie team (+/- 8-tal mensen).

Wie ben jij?

Binnen de afdeling Marketing zijn we op zoek naar een Head of Category Industrial & PPE Benelux. Het is jouw missie om samen met je team de zeer belangrijke groei categorie (Industrial & PPE) binnen Lyreco Benelux verder uit te bouwen. Dit doe je door een marktconforme strategie op landenniveau & per klanten segment neer te zetten. Je weet perfect de behoeften van de klant te koppelen aan de opportuniteiten die zich voordien binnen de wereld (obv markt data & Lyreco positie in de markt). Dagelijks sta je in contact met heel wat relevante partners & leveranciers. Naast het implementeren van deze strategie ben je ook een specialist in het uitdenken van vernieuwende concepten en services.

Je bent gepassioneerd door de B2B wereld & krijgt veel energie van het ontwikkelen van een strategie voor de categorie welke je daarna samen met je team gaat implementeren.

Je hebt relevante expertise (5 jaar minimaal) in één van de volgende categorieën – Industrial en PPE. Je kent de relevante markten & zijn opportuniteiten/uitdagingen.

Je hebt aantoonbare & relevante ervaring in het aansturen van een team.

Je bent een kei in strategisch denkwerk, maar je houdt er ook van om dit operationeel uit te voeren.

Project matig te werk gaan en opvolging doen zit in je manier van werken.

Je bent een leider & doorzetter die niet opgeeft en steeds voor het beste resultaat gaat.

Je bent een echte team player die graag samenwerkt met diverse interne en externe stakeholders.

Je werkt efficiënt en neemt verantwoordelijkheid om de zaken professioneel aan te pakken.

Je bent een degelijke onderhandelaar (met je leveranciers) die graag analytisch en gestructureerd te werk gaat.

Je bent flexibel en hebt er niets op tegen om af en toe naar het buitenland te reizen. (afhankelijk van locatie Berchem, BE en Dordrecht, NL)

Je hebt een master diploma, bij voorkeur in een economische en/of marketing richting.

Je hebt een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een absolute meerwaarde.

Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van de verschillende MS Office pakketten.
