Marketing Director

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG brand, on the search for a Marketing Director. This is a permanent role based in Amsterdam .

This is a key role in developing and executing the Brand & Marketing strategy and the leadership & development of the broader marketing organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a distinctive strategy including visual platform, archetype, and tone of voice that aligns to a clear target consumer offering a unique selling proposition.
  • Manage internal and external creative studios to deliver assets aligned to brand & marketing strategies on a seasonal basis.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to create brand awareness and preference resulting in facilitating the growth of the company across all countries.
  • Plan and execute campaigns geared around delivering marketing KPIs and supporting the overall business performance.
  • Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online and physical presence, and editorial design.
  • Effective management of external parties such as media agency, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute an effective social media strategy geared towards an engaged community of end consumer and brand ambassadors.
  • Work in close collaboration with the product dept. to develop seasonal themes that flow through to end consumer marketing campaigns.
  • Closely collaborate with digital and retail teams to ensure the connection with performance marketing to deliver marketing KPIs.
  • Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track brand performance across all channels, identify key insights, and make data-driven decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience as Marketing Director.
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics.
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude.
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is a plus.
  • Degree in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field.
