At Decathlon, the role of the Marketing Director is integral to shaping the brand's presence and driving revenue growth through innovative and powerful local strategies. You will be at the forefront of a complete marketing experience, leading every facet of our journey. From determining brand positioning and competitive analysis to executing strategic campaigns and external communications, your work will significantly impact our customer base and overall business performance.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Offer & Commercial, Product Development, Digital, and Global Marketing, ensuring alignment and coherence between local and global strategies. As part of our global marketing community, you will drive excellence in execution, utilizing data-driven insights to address key business challenges and enhance revenue growth.

Your responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with Decathlon's global vision and cater to the unique needs of the local market. Utilizing customer insights, market research, and competitive analysis, you will refine and localize brand positioning and develop growth marketing strategies for specific sport segments to ensure maximum market relevance and business impact. Incorporating innovative tools and technologies, you will enhance our marketing solutions to achieve our ambitious goals

You will oversee the entire m.arketing and communication strategy, setting campaign objectives, and monitoring their effectiveness against target KPIs. Managing all media investments, you will leverage 360-degree media strategies across digital and offline channels, including media, influencer marketing, PR, and in-store promotions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. Lead the development and execution of the marketing and communication strategy along with a cross functional collaboration with both global and local teams**- Use customer insights, market research, and competitor analysis to refine and localize brand positioning, define market-specific customer segmentation for each sports market, and ensure the highest market relevance. Stay up to date with marketing, customer, and digital trends to enhance the company's marketing strategy.
- Plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy that aligns with the Decathlon's purpose, business objectives, and global strategies to support the growth. This includes defining and implementing brand marketing and local media strategies and levers.
- Work closely with the United and Sports Marketing and Communication teams and other key Cross functional stakeholders (sports, commercial, global customer office ) to ensure coherence and alignment between local and global strategies. This also involves co-building commercial policies and sharing insights and best practices.
- Define, monitor, and optimize country marketing resources and spending. This includes detailing marketing planning, campaign prioritization, budget allocation, and ensuring the annual budget aligns with the country’s strategic objectives and global marketing guidelines.
- Identify and incorporate new tools and technologies (such as AI, digital, CRM) that can support and enhance marketing solutions, ensuring the company's marketing strategy is innovative and effective.
