**Director Commercial Partnerships, Marketing**
The role is a member of the Commercial Leadership team and will work closely with the regional directors, senior director and operations director to drive growth on a global scale.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead all aspects of execution of the growth strategy, including segmentation, go-to-market definition and supporting the partner prospecting and negotiation processes.
- Proactively support the business and all internal priorities for the segment, reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Partnerships.
- Assist in closing key partner negotiations, providing commercial, product, and legal/contract input to Business development and account management teams
- Develop, build, manage and lead multiple teams of senior managers and principal account managers across the globe.
- Provide relevant priorities and global product inputs to further partner product development and support services.
- Actively ‘mine’ the affiliate program in conjunction with the regional directors across the world to identify new sources/verticals of demand worth investing in and exploiting for growth
- Monitor, research and report findings on market developments in the travel industry.
- Monitor, research and report on internal tactics and solution that can be implemented across our partners to drive and promote direct shift
- Responsible for the alignment and ownership of our “Interco” (including but not limited to Agoda, Priceline and Rocket Travel) business unit cooperation model and target definition..
**Ideal Experience & Skills**:
- Significant years of relevant business development experience within ecommerce or online travel agencies
- A proven track record of effective management of people and leader of successful teams
- Knowledge of relevant industry trends shaping the online travel market
- Well-honed presentation skills, present with comfort and ease
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to envision, articulate, and execute a compelling future for the business
- Ability to manage across teams, geographies, cultures, functions, external organizations and partners
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time,
