The People Business Partner is key member of our People team, responsible for partnering with and acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business within their region/country, collaborating and working side by side with the Global People BP’s and COE’s. The primary objective of this role will be to lead the implementation, and execution of the People Plan for their client group, that aligns to and supports the business strategy and growth objectives.

The People Business Partner is a high-level operational and strategic role within the People team, providing expert counsel in all areas of the People agenda. The role will be responsible and accountable for implementation of relevant initiatives and programs relevant to Netherlands & Belgium.


People Strategy : Partner with stakeholders to understand business strategy and objectives, translating into People initiatives (People Plan) aligned to the commercial requirements of their area/s.
Change Management : Proactively address organisational changes, providing expertise on change management strategies, including acquisitions, restructuring and disposals. Assist in managing the transition, minimising disruption, and risk.
Evaluate the organisational structure and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness to provide challenge on the performance of the organisation and support the delivery of the business strategy and objectives.
Performance Management : Engage with the Centres of Excellence (“CoEs”) and leadership to execute performance management strategies to optimise colleague performance, including KPIs, performance reviews, and development plans. Talent Management: Partner with the CoEs to develop and execute talent strategies, including workforce planning, talent pipelines, succession planning, and high-potential identification. Data-Driven Insights and Recommendations : Utilise data analytics to evaluate, inform and provide strategic insights and recommendations related to the People initiatives, enabling informed decision-making and identification of potential future issues, or opportunities.
Identify training needs and engage CoEs to design programs to enhance skills, behaviours, and competencies. Support the implementation and imbedding of L&D programs, use [qualitative and quantitative] data to provide recommendations and feedback for continuous development. Act as a coach and mentor senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities.
Employee Relations : Act as senior advisor for complex ER issues, identifying and mitigating risks of employment litigation and providing recommendations and coaching to leaders and People colleagues. Proven experience as a strategic People Business Partner or Head of People role previously, in a global matrix environment.
CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (or working towards accreditation / comparable business experience).
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and influence financial and operational metrics.
In-depth knowledge of Dutch employment law and regulations.
Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence change.
Demonstrable experience in talent management, employee relations and performance management.
Experience in organisational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, culture transformation, performance management or related areas preferred.
Workday or larger HCM, such as SAP or Oracle, experience preferred.
Flexible working hours and flexibility in working at home or in the office, for a perfert work-life balance;
A favorable pension scheme, 26 vacation days (+4 office closing days) and 8% vacation pay with a full-time contract;
A laptop and business iPhone. A monthly homework allowance (by hybrid working).
