The Pan European Sales team at Smurfit Westrock is responsible for developing, growing and managing SK's sales with the world's largest international companies. We are currently looking for dynamic, reliable, ambitious person with an eye for detail to join our multi-national team in the role of European Business Analyst. The European Business Analyst (EBA) works alongside the European Account Director and Technical Account Manager to ensure a high level of customer satisfactory for our central customers and focuses on the commercial analysis, co-ordination and administration effort.

Primary Duties

  • Coordination of contracts and agreements within defined business plans and strategies.
  • Project Management including tenders, pricing exercises and profitability analyses across multiple countries, in a timely manner.
  • Dealing with complex business situations, delicate commercial issues between companies and countries and generating complex proposals to Pan European customers.
  • Be one of the primary contacts for European Customers.
  • Support in the Budget & Forecast Process for relevant customers.
  • Simulate different positions for internal & external stakeholders on a magnitude of different factors.
  • Take responsibility for executing price reviews according to the customer contract.
  • Participate in formulating effective customer strategies.
  • Part take in customer meetings when necessary.
  • Collate information from multiple countries organizing the information in a coherent way to present to internal & external stakeholders as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in Sales/Finance/Business preferably with experience in FMCG companies. Knowledge of the packaging industry would be a plus.
  • Is proficient in MS Office programs, namely excel.
  • Fluent English is a must. Any other major European language would be an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to handle complexity.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced multinational environment.
  • Requirement to travel when appropriate for customer meetings.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative way.
  • Self-motivated and strong willed, support and service minded.
