Account Executive - Semiconductor Industry

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Reports To: Mehdi

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally with more than 5 to 10 years of experience, and a proven track record of long-term customer relationships. This individual will play a key role in identifying and closing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, and working closely with senior executives to achieve both commercial and sales goals.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the semiconductor industry, international commercial trading operations, and supply chain dynamics. You will leverage your expertise and interpersonal skills to cultivate meaningful client relationships, ensuring revenue growth and the continued success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify, target, and close business opportunities with new and existing clients, particularly focusing on senior executives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the semiconductor industry, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Selling: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet commercial goals, leveraging knowledge of the semiconductor market and supply chain needs.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company's products and services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and supply chain, to ensure alignment and meet client needs.
  • Revenue Growth: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, contributing to the company's overall revenue goals and profitability.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, forecast future business, and provide regular updates on progress toward sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the semiconductor industry, more than 5 years, with a strong understanding of the sector's dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing long-term customer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of international commercial trading operations, semiconductor engineering, and supply chain management.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management cycles and enterprise-level supply chain experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary plus commission structure.
