The AWS IDE Team are looking for a Software Development Manager who is passionate about managing teams and building services. You will be part of a team building an AWS service to enhance the developer experience in Cloud. The team works in close collaboration with other AWS services such as AWS Cloud9, AWS Fargate, and AWS ECS. If you are exited about the thought of working in cloud computing and building future AWS services, then we’d love to talk to you.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

- Making AWS easy to learn and use
- Being a proponent of the DevOps movement and enabling customers to create highly automated systems that solve their business needs
- Working with engineering teams to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions that scale operationally
- Building and delivering products and services in the Developer Tools space
- Hiring, mentoring, and growing a high performing engineering team
- Working closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
- Operating critical systems and services
- Participating in an on-call rotation every ~1-2 months
