**Airline Ticketing & Reservation Agent**:
**Job description**:

- Overseeing changes to original reservations and managing exchanges and refunds.
- Monitoring flight reservations and cancellations and no-shows.
- Reading and interpreting the reservation system at a speedy pace.
- Answering incoming calls and giving satisfactory replies to customer inquiries.
- Make Reservations for customers.
- Assist customers with planning and booking reservations.
- Booking airline tickets, seats with additional legroom and services etc.
- Help plan travel itineraries by suggesting best price-oriented alternatives.
- Process payments and send the details and confirmation to the customer.
- When issues arise with reservations, the Reservation Agent is often contacted to sort out the issues or come back to the manager for assistance.
- Revising system Q and tacking actions.
- Issuing a daily sales report and sent to the financial department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Customer Service while selling EGYPTAIR’s Services and Products.
- Reservation Agents must be very knowledgeable on EGYPTAIR’s services they are selling or promoting.
- Customers will often have questions throughout the booking process and the Reservation Agent is expected to answer them.
- If the question is not something the Reservation Agent knows or has immediate access to, it is their responsibility to obtain the answer and get back to the customer.
- Outstanding experience in handling reservation inquiries in the airline industry.
- Profound knowledge of attending to incoming and outgoing reservation calls.
- Deep knowledge of maintaining cordial relations with all customers.
- Solid understanding of giving special treatment to VIP customers.
- Must have impeccable customer service skills and be excellent communicators.
- Should also be detail-orientated and enjoy assisting others.
- Maintain all ARC accreditation documents to stay compliant.
- Execute other assigned tasks which may occur.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role
Supervisory experience required.
- Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).
- EGYPTAIR’s reservation system (AMADEUS) - courses in reservations and ticketing is a privilege.
- Airline advanced passenger tariff and pricing course is a privilege.
- Recognized IATA or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
Coaching.
- Profound knowledge of all IATA ticketing regulations in involuntary as well involuntary situations as well as knowledge in fare calculation.
- Amadeus skills.
- Tariff knowledge.
- Good written and oral skills fluency in Dutch and English language, more languages is a privilege.
- Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
- Self-starter with coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the needs
- Data entry experience.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, and scanners.
- Call center experience.
- Experience in sales.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12-36 months
