Let's talk about the role:
Are you passionate about crafting impactful marketing strategies? As Head of Marketing & Communications, you'll drive the planning, development, and execution of all marketing activities, ensuring they align with MSAM’s business objectives. You’ll create and implement marketing plans, lead public relations efforts, and develop engaging content for our website and social channels. If you’re ready to influence our brand’s success and make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you

On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Sponsoring & Hospitality: Manage external partnerships, deliver outstanding client experiences, and oversee the strategic design and distribution of branded merchandise to enhance brand visibility and loyalty.- Content & Branding: Define consistent messaging, maintain brand integrity, create compelling content, and manage content calendars for timely and impactful communication.- Public Relations & Media Relations: Craft and distribute press releases, build media relationships, and manage crisis communications to protect and promote the company’s reputation with our PR agency.- Digital Marketing & Social Media Management: Develop and maintain websites, execute digital campaigns, manage social media presence, and optimize content using SEO and analytics tools.- Event Management & Marketing: Plan, execute, and promote events across Europe, ensuring brand alignment and effective guest management

Who are we looking for:
- Significant experience in executing marketing and communications strategies, including creating and implementing integrated multi-channel plans.- Skilled in creating clear and engaging content for diverse channels.- Self-starter with a proactive attitude, capable of strategy development, communications planning, event management, proven PR expertise, media relations, website management.- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.- Strong people management skills to hire and onboard employees, provide coaching and feedback, promote a positive work culture, and address performance issues when necessary.

About Us:
As head of Marketing & Communications, you will join the Broker Relations & Business Development (BR & BD) team, which consists of 8 colleagues, one of whom also partially supports Marketing. The BR & BD team operates from both the Rotterdam and Paris offices, supporting our operations in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, and the UK. In addition to Marketing & Communications, the BR & BD team is responsible for Broker Relations & Business Development, our Marine Academy and Contract & Wording services.
