**The Job**

Are you passionate about marketing and have a creative flair for content? We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam, where you’ll contribute to our local marketing projects and help enhance our brand visibility. If you are a detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual with a love for Japan and marketing, this is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level

**Responsibilities**:
**Marketing and content creation**
- Re-write blog articles from English to Dutch with a focus on SEO optimization and cultural adaptation for local audiences.
- Translate and create website copy that captivates our target market and conveys our brand's message.
- Support the scheduling and posting of social media content, ensuring an engaging online presence in English and Dutch-speaking markets.
- Participate in local marketing campaigns and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on projects that support the overall growth of the brand.
- Assist with translations and proofreading of marketing materials.
- Help in organizing and promoting events, fairs, and other marketing activities.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and contribute new ideas to improve our marketing efforts.

**TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE**

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Proficiency in English and Dutch, with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Experience in content creation and digital marketing, with a solid understanding of SEO practices.
- Tech-savvy with experience in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Familiarity with translation and localization of content for different markets.
- Knowledge of Japanese culture is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in copywriting and content production.

**Experience**
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, with a focus on content creation and social media management.
