Without access to the right knowledge, talent, and funding, even promising startups run out of steam. This makes a thriving ecosystem a cornerstone of startup success. Dealroom isn’t just a source of startup data; it’s one of the most notable sources of information in the tech ecosystem.
While we don’t call the investment shots, our database provides predictive power to our clients' investment strategies through data and AI - e.g., we help venture capital firms spot the next Spotify tree in the startup forest. Our Business Development team helps expand and promote this usage to new users in the market. Do you want to help our organisation scale, grow and bring clients to our customer base?
**As a Business Development Representative, you’ll**
- Research and prospect into targeted accounts, markets and segments searching for key organizations and people.
- Engage with prospects and route the applicable leads within the sales team.
- Route online chat, trial-request, and helping sign-ups help find the data & insights they’re looking for.
- Operate workflows, trial-flows, and standard automation within Hubspot.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and sales colleagues to maximize the effectiveness of content and sales-collateral.

- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
- You bring prior experience in startups, software sales, or related fields, ideally with familiarity in SaaS-based technologies.
- You thrive in a high-output, results-driven role, maintaining a strong sense of urgency to meet ambitious goals.
- You excel in a multicultural, remote, and fast-paced startup environment.
- You share our passion for tech, startups, and thriving tech ecosystems..
- You have experience with social selling and networking tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- You are proactive and can initiate phone conversations for outbound and inbound lead generation.
- You have proven expertise in outbound activities, including cold outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification.
- You can work in Europe and are fluent in English. Additional language skills are welkom/wilkommen/bienvenidos/kyaosopartaal.
