We are hiring a Logistics Inventory Manager to join our Logistics team in the Netherlands or Germany.

Let's talk about the role:
The Logistics Inventory Manager EMEA is the key owner to set and drive a strategy for inventory control across the region in compliance with ResMed´s Customer, Financial and Quality/Regulatory requirements. This role has a high importance in EMEA and is a major player in the actions undertaken to improve controls on inventory in operations.

Overall, the Logistics Inventory Manager plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and controlled based inventory practices along the EMEA Region. In addition, this role is responsible for securing integrity and traceability of ResMed´s goods enhancing our ability to deliver devices and supplies on time to all relevant customers and patients touchpoints. This includes supporting key projects in close collaboration with numerous interfaces such as ResMed’s agile product team and IT organization, Customer & Technical Service, Commercial, Purchasing, Finance and Quality Management.

- The primary objective of Inventory Management specialization within Supply Chain Job Family is to ensure the right level of inventory is in the right place at the right time (On Time and In Full) for both manufacturing site and commercial operations.- Key responsibilities include determining the allocation and ship-mode to supply the various site locations with products sourced from our manufacturing sites.- Other key components of the role include the management of slow moving stock, obsolete stock recommendations, inventory accuracy through appropriate cycle counting and rework activities as required.- Develop and implement inventory control strategies, procedures and metrics aligned to Global policies ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and management of inventory across the region.- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales trends, demand patterns, slow moving items to identify actions that can optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess stock.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, procurement, and sales, to coordinate inventory needs and ensure efficient inventory management.- Implement and maintain inventory control systems and software to accurately track and manage inventory across multiple locations and with Service Providers.- Conduct regular audits and physical inventory counts to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate inventory records.- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure adherence to inventory control practices and policies.- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory control procedures and optimize operational efficiency.- Provide leadership and guidance to the local inventory control team(s), ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their roles effectively.- Stay updated on best practices, and regulatory requirements related to inventory control and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.- Prepare and present reports on inventory performance, including key metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities, to senior management.- Support the development of new logistics capabilities.- Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.- Act as a point of escalation in cases of inventory control and management.- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring that inventory control policies, procedures and metrics are met.- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the logistics function. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement innovative solutions and enhance supply chain efficiency.- Data Analysis: Analysing inventory levels data and service performance to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence
