About the Role

As a Business Consultant Data Quality Expert at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Data Quality Issue Management process. You will be responsible for making agreements with various business lines, tracking progress through multiple dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Data Issues Management process, serving as an expert resource for users.
  • Implement process improvements to structurally resolve data issues for the bank.
  • Collaborate with Data Quality issue managers, Data Stewards, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to coordinate planning and execution of data issue resolution.
  • Create steering information to communicate with users and senior management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to processes and procedures.
  • Analyze business data and create visualizations using Power BI to identify trends and provide insights into business performance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision making and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Working Environment

You will become part of the core team Data Issue Management, responsible for the Data Quality Issue Management process within Central Data Office (CDO). The team aims to help the bank control its Data Quality by creating transparency, holding parties accountable for solving issues, making the process more efficient, and providing the right insights to enable informed decision making.

The scope of the process encompasses the entire bank, requiring constant collaboration with all business lines, international branches, and subsidiaries. The expectations are high, which is why we are seeking new colleagues to join our team.

Your Profile

You will be a good listener and networker, able to handle conflicts and express clear opinions. Practical skills, such as working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira, Power BI, will come naturally to you, as will taking stakeholders along and informing management.

This is what you will bring to the role:

  • Master's degree
  • More than 5 years of full-time working experience
  • Experience in data and/or process management
  • Familiarity with behavioral change and/or Data Quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and related tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for growth

We Offer

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
