Your Role

As a Data Quality Consultant at ABN AMRO Bank, you will be instrumental in overseeing the Data Quality Issue Management process. Your expertise will ensure that the resolution of Data Quality Issues is efficient and effective. You will facilitate collaboration across various business lines, monitor progress through dashboards, and contribute innovative solutions to enhance the process. Your role will also involve setting standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed about their responsibilities in addressing Data Quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Data Issues Management processes and serve as a resource for users.
  • Drive enhancements to the process aimed at systematically resolving data issues for the organization.
  • Collaborate with Data Quality issue managers, Data Stewards, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to coordinate the planning and execution of data issue resolutions.
  • Generate reports and insights to communicate effectively with users and senior management.
  • Raise awareness among users through demonstrations, knowledge sharing sessions, and training.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for data owners, users, and stewards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to processes and procedures.
  • Analyze business data and create visual representations using Power BI to uncover trends and provide insights into organizational performance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure adherence to governance standards.

Working Environment

In your position as a Data Quality Consultant, you will be part of the core Data Issue Management team within the Central Data Office (CDO). This expanding team of professionals is dedicated to enhancing the bank's Data Quality by fostering transparency, encouraging accountability in issue resolution, streamlining processes, and generating the necessary insights for informed decision-making.

The scope of your work will encompass the entire organization, necessitating ongoing collaboration with all business lines, international branches, and subsidiaries. The expectations are high, which is why we are seeking new colleagues to join our mission.

Your Profile

You thrive in diverse environments, engaging with colleagues from various backgrounds and levels. You possess the capability to navigate conflicts and express differing opinions confidently. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and Power BI is second nature to you, along with effectively engaging stakeholders and keeping management informed.

Your qualifications include:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Over 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expertise in data and/or process management.
  • Familiarity with behavioral change and/or Data Quality principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for identifying growth opportunities.

What We Offer

  • A competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, inclusive of vacation pay and a benefits budget.
  • A Benefit Budget amounting to 11% of your salary, allowing for additional employment benefits. If unused, you will receive a monthly payout equivalent to one-twelfth of your Benefit Budget.
  • Five weeks of vacation annually, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks.
  • A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, which can accumulate up to €3,000.
