Your Role

As a Data Quality Consultant at ABN AMRO Bank, you will be instrumental in overseeing the Data Quality Issue Management process. Your expertise will ensure that the resolution of Data Quality Issues is efficient and effective, as you collaborate with various business lines, monitor progress through dashboards, and propose innovative solutions to expedite the resolution process. You will not only establish standards and drive continuous improvement but also ensure that stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to address Data Quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Data Issues Management processes and serve as a subject matter expert for users.
  • Implement enhancements to the processes aimed at systematically resolving data issues across the organization.
  • Collaborate with Data Quality issue managers, Data Stewards, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to coordinate the planning and execution of data issue resolutions.
  • Develop steering information to communicate effectively with users and senior management.
  • Raise awareness among users through demonstrations, knowledge sessions, and training.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for data owners, data users, and data stewards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to processes and procedures.
  • Analyze business data and generate visualizations using Power BI to identify trends and provide insights into business performance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure adherence to governance standards.

Working Environment

In your role as a Data Quality Consultant, you will be part of the core Data Issue Management team within the Central Data Office (CDO). This dynamic team of professionals is dedicated to enhancing the bank's Data Quality by fostering transparency, encouraging accountability in issue resolution, streamlining processes, and generating the necessary insights for informed decision-making.

The scope of your work will encompass the entire organization, necessitating ongoing collaboration with all business lines, international branches, and subsidiaries. Given the high expectations, we are seeking new colleagues who are ready to contribute.

Your Profile

You thrive in a collaborative environment, engaging with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and levels. Your strong listening skills and networking abilities complement your commitment to honoring agreements. You are adept at conflict resolution and are not hesitant to express your opinions. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and Power BI is second nature to you, as is the ability to engage stakeholders and keep management informed.

Your qualifications include:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Over 5 years of full-time professional experience.
  • Experience in data and/or process management.
  • Familiarity with behavioral change and/or Data Quality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and related tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a knack for identifying growth opportunities.

  • A competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, inclusive of vacation pay and a benefits budget.
