Key ResponsibilitiesWe are in search of a driven Business Development Manager (f/m/d) to become an integral part of our core team.
Your primary focus will be on cultivating and managing strategic alliances with resell partners and e-commerce platform vendors.
Additionally, you will optimize customer acquisition, ideally through partners and, when necessary, directly.
Specific Responsibilities:
Business Development: Formulate and implement partnership strategies, including joint marketing efforts, co-selling opportunities, and collaborative product innovation, to enhance product visibility.
- Resell Partner Development: Identify and onboard potential sales partners, such as digital agencies and system integrators, capable of reselling, implementing, and supporting SPARQUE technology.
- Platform Partner Development: Assess and establish partnerships with technology firms, vendors, and service providers within the e-commerce sector, particularly within ecosystems of e-commerce platforms like SAP Commerce, Magento, Shopware, BigCommerce, and Shopify.
- Sales Enablement: Work alongside partners to devise sales strategies and joint business plans, providing necessary sales tools, training, and resources to empower partners in effectively promoting and selling SPARQUE products and services.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams (Intershop and SPARQUE), including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to align partnership priorities with organizational goals and develop mutually beneficial business strategies and initiatives.
We are looking for individuals with:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, or Sales & Marketing, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
- Strong relationship-building and closing capabilities.
- The ability to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities effectively.
- Tenacity and focus, accompanied by a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and simply to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in both German and English, written and verbal.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
