Your Responsibilities
Addressing intricate (sustainability) reporting and financial accounting assignments.Guiding clients in interpreting emerging sustainability regulations and ensuring their preparedness for the future.Acting as the vital connection between KPMG and the client.Exhibiting a critical mindset.Adapting seamlessly while collaborating within diverse teams.Enhancing your expertise as a subject matter authority in accounting and ESG reporting.
Your Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting, Control, or a related field.(Nearly) certified accountant (RA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).Experience in resolving US GAAP accounting challenges.7-8 years of pertinent professional experience.Extensive knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with other GAAPs is advantageous.Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, with the capacity to perform under pressure.Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a multi-stakeholder environment.
What You Will Experience
As a manager in our accounting advisory service team (CMAAS), you will embark on an accelerated learning journey. CMAAS is a specialized unit that provides guidance to clients on complex accounting issues related to financial statements, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, GAAP conversions, new (sustainability) reporting standards, and more. The fusion of accounting and sustainability, coupled with a portfolio of prestigious (inter)national clients and a professional team of seasoned experts, will significantly enhance your skills and knowledge. Following a comprehensive onboarding process, you will immediately engage with client-facing teams that support our global clientele in achieving their objectives. You will tackle both accounting and sustainability reporting topics. Be prepared for an environment that offers robust support for your growth while challenging you to meet the high standards of quality, agility, and flexibility that our clients expect. This is crucial, as new (sustainability) accounting requirements often necessitate adjustments within client organizations, including new finance processes or IT systems.
