Your Responsibilities
Addressing intricate (sustainability) reporting and financial accounting challenges.Guiding clients on interpreting emerging sustainability regulations to ensure they remain ahead of the curve.Acting as the crucial link between KPMG and our clients.Exhibiting a critical mindset.Adapting seamlessly while collaborating with diverse teams.Developing expertise in accounting and ESG reporting.
Your Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting, Control, or a related field.(Nearly) certified accountant (RA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).Experience in resolving US GAAP accounting challenges.7-8 years of relevant professional experience.Extensive knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with other GAAPs is advantageous.Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a multi-stakeholder environment.
What to Expect in This Role
As a manager in our accounting advisory service team (CMAAS), you will experience a steep learning curve. CMAAS is a specialized division that provides clients with solutions to complex accounting issues related to financial statements, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, GAAP conversions, new (sustainability) reporting standards, and more. The intersection of accounting and sustainability, combined with our prestigious (inter)national clientele and a professional team of seasoned experts, will enhance your skills and knowledge. Following a comprehensive onboarding process, you will immediately engage with client-facing teams supporting our global clients in achieving their objectives. You will tackle both accounting matters and sustainability reporting. This is vital as new (sustainability) accounting requirements often necessitate organizational adjustments for clients, including new finance processes or IT systems.
