Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Client Partnerships Manager to join our team at 11192 Citibank Europe plc Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with our clients, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance client satisfaction, revenue growth, and efficiency. You will work closely with internal teams to provide cross-product coverage, identify opportunities for cross-selling, and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build trusted client relationships by providing expert advice and advocacy within Citi.
  • Lead and coordinate negotiations of legal contracts and business updates.
  • Provide thought leadership on regulatory, industry, and product solutions.
  • Work in partnership with Citi teams and clients to ensure Citi is a top provider.
  • Understand existing and future products to propose recommendations.
  • Be ultimately responsible for Knowing the Client (KYC) and all associated approvals.
Financial Performance
  • Client-facing role responsible for retaining existing revenue and generating new revenue through cross-selling.
  • Understand the client wallet, drive organic growth, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Accountable for client profitability and efficiency.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms for new products in partnership with Product organisation.
  • Deliver firm-wide referrals.
Client Satisfaction
  • Serve as an escalation point to engage clients where not responsive to document remediation and renewal requests or when Client Service role cannot resolve.
  • Accountable for client satisfaction, working with internal teams to ensure quality delivery, adherence to Service Level Agreements, and governance of the overall relationship internally and with the client.
  • Perform regular client reviews to determine overall client satisfaction and govern action plans to address client concerns.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services to our clients, working with Product, Operations, and Tech partners.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in a global financial institution with experience in Client Relationship management.
  • Experience managing by influence and demonstrated ability to manage complex issue resolution.
  • Self-starter, good problem solver, results-oriented.
  • Proven track record of cross-selling skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and execute solutions with appropriate urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence to handle external meetings and discussions with Clients.
  • Good knowledge of the Securities Services industry, the client segment, and cross-product knowledge of services provided by Citi.
  • Able to multitask and constantly assess and change priorities in line with demands of the business and Client base.
  • Willingness and motivation to maintain a steep learning curve, keeping in tune with business, client demands, and global market developments.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory, risk, and control environment impacting our business.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum.
