What to anticipate in this position?

Proposal Assistance

Assist during the proposal development phase, collaborating closely with proposal leaders and field personnel. Aid in the organization, tracking, and compilation of essential proposal documents. Edit and format narrative components of proposals, many of which contain scientific and technical terminology. Format and edit documents, materials, charts, tables, and presentations for team members as required. Conduct desk research and prepare pertinent materials for internal and external meetings with staff, donors, potential funders, and other key stakeholders. Support knowledge management efforts, including the utilization of Salesforce. Contribute to new and ongoing special projects as needed.

Administrative Support

Provide administrative and logistical assistance to the New Business Development team. Organize all meetings and events for the NBD unit. Schedule and coordinate various meetings and conference calls; prepare and distribute agendas. Take minutes as requested and finalize them for distribution. Maintain both electronic and physical files for the New Business Development Unit and manage the team intranet page. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications for Success

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and writing abilities. Capability to effectively interact with all management levels and efficiently provide support to colleagues. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, take initiative, and follow through independently while meeting deadlines.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is $40,000 – $50,000 annually. This position is classified as non-exempt and compensated hourly. For remote staff, geographical salary ranges are based on the candidate's location and the associated cost of labor.

Actual salary will be determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, external market data, and budget considerations.
