About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Account Manager Trade Inland Waterways to join our team at Technetium Recruitment B.V. in Rotterdam. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the trade sales process, ensuring accurate commercial handling of customer requests, and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the trade RFQ process to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and elaborate quotations, adhering to sales authorization and pricing guidelines.
  • Conduct cost price calculations for small orders based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure all relevant information is up-to-date, correct, and complete in our systems (Zendesk/Navision).
  • Process invoices for sales orders and follow up with customers on quotations.
Requirements
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in commercial handling.
  • Ability to think commercially and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a similar role or experience with inland shipping (1-2 years).
  • Secondary vocational graduate or higher.
