MAMA MAKAN, a renowned restaurant within the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam, is looking for a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join their culinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional dishes that showcase your creativity and passion for food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in menu planning and preparation, ensuring dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • Excellent language and communication skills in English, with proficiency in Dutch a plus.
  • Creativity, motivation, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles.
  • International mindset and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
