Research Position in 2D Materials
We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our team at the Eindhoven University of Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in 2D materials and their synthesis, with a proven track record of academic research.
The researcher will be responsible for leading research on 2D materials growth, with access to cutting-edge synthesis and metrology tools. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across disciplines and shape the future of semiconductor devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality academic research in 2D materials synthesis and characterization
- Develop and lead research projects in collaboration with other departments and industry partners
- Teach and contribute to the Applied Physics bachelor and master curriculum
- Mentor and coach students and staff
- Collaborate with other researchers to advance the field of 2D materials
Requirements
- PhD in (Applied) Physics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable domain
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality academic research
- Affinity and willingness to teach and contribute to the Applied Physics curriculum
- Strong cooperation and communication skills
- Effective leadership and mentoring skills
