Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Sales Executive to join our dynamic team at Hotel Co 51 in Amsterdam. As a Group Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in securing group bookings and maximizing revenue for our selection of exciting Moxy and other Marriott branded hotels across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming group enquiries to ensure excellent customer service and exceed expectations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to optimize revenue for our hotels.
- Oversee the entire group booking process, from initial contact through to contract finalization and execution.
- Maintain meticulous records, including contracts, invoices, rooming lists, and other essential documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Leverage your knowledge of the group sales process and Moxy brand identity to secure the best possible deals for each property.
- Ensure accurate and timely information is communicated to our hotels, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and marketing, guest services, or a related hospitality role.
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a relevant field is a plus, but not essential.
- Fluency in English is a must. Additional European languages (French, German, Italian) are a significant advantage.
- A strong understanding of the group sales process and hotel operations, particularly within the Moxy and other Marriott brands.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for exceeding expectations and achieving results.
- A team player with a go-getter attitude.
- Prior experience with booking and managing meetings & events is highly desirable.
