Lead Inventory Control Specialist

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Inventory Control Operator (ICO) to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing warehouse operations by ensuring efficient walking distances and minimizing replenishment frequency.
Your primary duties will include logging, investigating, dispatching, and resolving service complaints. You will also coordinate, execute, and oversee daily inventory control tasks while addressing and reporting any stock-related discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and calculate departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assess and compute data necessary for effective bin management
- Provide analytical support related to operational activities
- Manage service complaints by logging, investigating, dispatching, and closing them in accordance with established targets
- Engage actively in projects related to inventory control
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively
- Identify and implement workflow improvements
- Investigate, reconcile, report, and analyze stock variances
- Manage reconciliation and disposal of expired inventory
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies from sending plants
- Ensure product handling adheres to quality standards
- Maintain compliance with training and certification requirements
- Provide overall support as needed
Qualifications:
- Educational background: MBO III level or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in a warehouse setting
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office
- Excellent social and communication abilities
- Commitment to a zero-error approach
- Flexible attitude towards work hours

Working Hours:
Shifts available: 06:00 – 14:30 & 14:30 – 23:00
