About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Author to join our Customer Documentation team at Thales. As a Senior Technical Author, you will be responsible for developing technical user documentation for our high-tech products, including Radar Systems and Command & Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and research technical information to create accurate and clear documentation
  • Collaborate with specialists to ensure technical specifications are up-to-date and accurate
  • Write and maintain Operator, Maintenance, and System Manuals
  • Contribute to new developments in publications, including animation, AR, VR, and video
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Technical background and/or affinity with technology
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Author or similar position
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Knowledge of English language and Simplified Technical English (STE)
  • Experience with S1000D V3.0 and V4.1 Data Modules (DMs) is a plus
