About the Role

TenneT is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Buyer 2GW to join our team in Arnhem. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Large Project Offshore team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sourcing activities within the 2GW offshore program
  • Manage price and index elements for all projects with one 2GW partner/consortium in portfolio and project contracts
  • Execute supplier performance management for one partner/consortium and manage sub-supplier governance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with one partner/consortium on a continuous basis
  • Support colleagues in developing best practices and setting up standardized processes
  • Define standardized processes and setups, including call-off processes
  • Conduct active stakeholder management, ensuring insight into the influence, wishes, motives, and intentions of colleagues and suppliers of strategic importance to LPO
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in procurement and a passion for the energy transition. You will work closely with our LPO department and be part of the Project Team for 2GW, requiring excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Hold a degree in economics or business administration or a comparable field of study
  • Have extensive practical experience in all procurement activities, including EU Tender law
  • Be result-oriented, customer-focused, and analytically skilled, with the power of persuasion and personal judgment
  • Show initiative, be open-minded to new topics, and enjoy working in a team
  • Have subject-matter expertise in procurement packages in the field of engineering, environmental management, contract forms, and innovation
