About the Role

TenneT is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Buyer 2GW to join our team in Arnhem. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Large Project Offshore team in the procurement of goods and services for our 2GW offshore program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct sourcing activities within the 2GW offshore program, ensuring the best possible outcomes for TenneT.
  • Manage price and index elements for all projects with one 2GW partner or consortium in portfolio and project contracts.
  • Execute supplier performance management for one partner or consortium and manage sub-supplier governance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring their interests are aligned with TenneT's goals.
  • Support the development of best practices and standardized processes within the team.
  • Define and implement standardized processes and setups, including call-off processes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring the interests of the projects are served in a proper manner.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. You should have a degree in economics or business administration, or a comparable field of study, and extensive practical experience in all procurement activities, including EU Tender law.

You should be result-oriented, customer-focused, and analytical, with the power of persuasion and the ability to form personal judgments. You should also be open-minded, enjoy working in a team, and have subject-matter expertise in procurement packages in the field of engineering, environmental management, contract forms, and innovation.
