Job Title: Senior Mechatronics System Architect

About the Role

As a Senior Mechatronics System Architect at VDL ETG Technology & Development, you will be responsible for capturing and decomposing customer requirements, designing the system, and leading the system design team to meet functional specifications within cost and timing constraints.

You will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to define decomposed functions and modules, document and maintain specifications, perform trade-off studies, and set direction for realization and validation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical University, Master degree
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in hi-tech, precision machinery, contamination control, and vacuum
  • Eagerness to define concepts, interfaces, and apply mechatronic design rules
  • Accuracy, flexibility, and motivation to face challenges
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English
