Maritime Electrical Estimator

At Van der Leun B.V., we specialize in providing electrical solutions for a diverse array of vessels, such as ferries, hybrid ships, tugboats, dredgers, crane vessels, and fire-fighting boats.

As a Maritime Electrical Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess and calculate the costs associated with electrical installations for maritime and offshore projects. This may encompass main switchboards, emergency switchboards, shore connection units, lighting systems, communication installations, emergency stop panels, and cabling specific to maritime and offshore applications. Each project presents its own unique challenges.

Upon finalizing your estimates, you will collaborate with various team members to review the calculations before presenting the proposal to the client. Once the proposal is accepted, you will be integral to the project team, leading the internal project kickoff by presenting your cost assessment.

Qualifications
  • Completed MBO education in electrical engineering or a related field
  • A strong technical background, ideally with engineering experience
  • A genuine interest in the maritime industry
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English

  • Familiarity with (maritime) installation technologies
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Strong communication skills across various levels

A laptop will be provided, and we offer flexible working hours and locations.

Our study fund allows your children to apply for contributions towards educational expenses. If you pursue further training or courses, we will reimburse those costs in accordance with our study cost regulations.
