Maritime Electrical Estimator

At Van der Leun B.V., we specialize in providing electrical solutions for a diverse array of vessels, such as ferries, hybrid ships, tugboats, dredgers, crane vessels, and fire-fighting boats.

As a Maritime Electrical Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess and calculate the costs associated with electrical installations for maritime and offshore initiatives. This may encompass main switchboards, emergency switchboards, shore connection units, lighting systems, communication installations, emergency stop panels, and cabling specific to maritime and offshore applications. Each assignment presents its own unique challenges.

Upon finalizing your estimates, you will collaborate with various team members to review the calculations before presenting the proposal to the client. Once the proposal is accepted, you will be integral to the project team, where you will share your estimates during the initial project meeting.

Qualifications
  • Completed MBO education in electrical engineering or a related field
  • A strong technical background, ideally with engineering experience
  • A genuine interest in our industry
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English

Your compensation will reflect your age, education, and experience, in accordance with the Metal and Technology collective labor agreement.
