Maritime Electrical Estimator

At Van der Leun, we specialize in providing electrical solutions for a diverse array of vessels, including ferries, hybrid ships, tugboats, dredgers, crane vessels, and fire-fighting boats.

As a Maritime Electrical Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess and calculate the costs associated with electrical installations for maritime and offshore endeavors. This may encompass main switchboards, emergency switchboards, shore connection units, lighting systems, telecommunication setups, emergency stop cabinets, and cabling tailored for maritime and offshore applications. Each project presents its own unique challenges.

Upon finalizing your estimates, you will collaborate with various team members to refine the proposal before it is presented to the client. Once the proposal receives approval, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the project team. During the internal project kickoff, you will deliver a presentation of your estimates.

Qualifications

  • Completed MBO education in electrical engineering or a related field
  • A strong technical background, ideally with engineering experience
  • A deep interest in the maritime industry
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English

Our study fund allows for contributions towards educational expenses for your children. If you pursue further training or courses, we will reimburse those costs as per our study cost regulations.
