About Damen Shipyards
Damen Shipyards is a leading manufacturer of commercial vessels and naval ships. Our Marketing department is responsible for promoting our brand and products to the global market.
The Role
We are seeking an Event Management Intern to assist our Event Managers in planning, organizing, and coordinating various events, including international conferences and exhibitions. As an Event Management Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Researching new event and exhibition possibilities to expand Damen's brand presence
- Developing event strategies and updating event page designs
- Coordinating with event managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful event execution
- Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting ongoing activities in the Marketing Communications department
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Event Management or a related field
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
