Senior Business Analyst Data Modeling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst Data Modeling to join our Data Sourcing team in our product unit – Financing Solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst Data Modeling, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our credit data model, working closely with business stakeholders to understand credit data requirements and translate them into tangible data deliveries.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data modelling, business analysis, and the lending/credit domain, with experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and business analysis, particularly within the banking sector and credit data domain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive data models, mapping credit data elements and flows to support lending decisions and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse credit data requirements, ensuring alignment with lending strategies.
- Lead the design and optimization of data structures and databases for credit data storage and retrieval.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to provide requirements for the build of the data platform, implement and validate data models, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
- Create and maintain documentation of data models, data lineage, and metadata for credit data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in credit data sourcing, integration, distribution, and utilization within the business lending context.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Econometrics or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and business analysis, particularly within the banking sector and credit data domain.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools and techniques, including experience with data modelling software (such as Erwin and Enterprise Architect).
- Strong SQL skills for querying credit data.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to credit data is a plus.
- General understanding of IT topics (through technical background or job experience).
