Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team at Optimizely. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to provide value through Optimizely's products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Optimizely's products and services, as well as the needs and challenges of our target customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of software sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling software solutions that include CMS, Social Media, Online Marketing, eCommerce, eMail Marketing, or Online Lead Enrichment.
  • Enterprise sales experience, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of large and complex organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
