Sustainable Computing Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our Interconnected Resource-aware Intelligent Systems (IRIS) cluster at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The successful candidate will contribute to our research on high-performance computing, data centers, and AI clusters, with a focus on sustainability, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality academic research in the area of sustainable computing, with a focus on parallel and distributed computing, resource management, and optimization.
- Develop and lead research projects, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines.
- Teach and mentor students, developing and delivering courses on sustainable computing and related topics.
- Collaborate with industry partners to ensure that research outcomes are relevant and impactful.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, with a strong publication record and international recognition.
- At least 2-3 years of academic work experience after obtaining PhD.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring students and staff.
- Strong cooperation skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- A meaningful job in a dynamic and ambitious university, with a beautiful and green campus.
- An 18-month contract as Assistant Professor, with the possibility of becoming permanent after 12 months.
