Role Summary:

As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and upkeep of NOC solutions while providing operational support for our European Data Center. Your primary focus will be on managing daily incidents related to servers and NOC equipment, alongside engaging in various project tasks.

You will collaborate closely with the Data Center Manager located in India to coordinate project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

NOC Engineer: Network Operations

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a NOC environment
  • Proficient in internet routing protocols and TCP/IP concepts, including BGP and OSPF
  • Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals and foundational knowledge of L2 switching and L3 routing
  • Experience with network operating systems such as Forti OS, HPE/Aruba, Arista EOS, and Junos
  • Skilled in network analytics and troubleshooting using packet capture and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with core technologies including Firewalls, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM

Qualifications

Server Engineer: Cloud and Infrastructure Operations

  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and cloud infrastructure components, including virtualization and Load Balancers
  • Monitoring of servers and Zoho applications, along with preparing root cause analysis for incidents
  • Management of various infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, Proxy, OS Image Servers, and Load Balancers
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts like VLAN, NAT, ARP, and fundamental firewall and switch configurations
  • Knowledge of server hardware components including CPU, RAM, various drive types, and NICs
